The Onslow Senior Men 1st XI plays in the Pearce Cup – Wellington’s Premier Senior Men’s Competition which is contested between eight teams in the Wellington and Hutt Valley Region over a one-day and two-day round.
Onslow has won the premier competition (previously known as the Cook Shield) in 1978-79, 1983-84, 1988-89 and 1991-92.
Following the amalgamation of the Wellington and Hutt Valley Cricket Associations in 1994-95, Onslow found itself relegated to the second-tier competition, the Hazlett Trophy winning it in 1997-98, 2001-02 and 2004-05.
Since regaining promotion to the Pearce Cup in 2005-06, Onslow has consistently been a top performer and avoided relegation.
